Black to play 6-1.

After 6/off, black has a 1 to play before white rolls. Here again the 1 is enormously important. Assuming again that white will not roll a double, if black moves his 1 from the 6 point to the 5 point, he becomes a 19 to 17 favorite to bear both men off on his next roll (there are 19 combinations which will bear off a 5-2). But if he moves the 1 from the 2 point to the 1 point, he will be a 21 to 15 underdog to bear both men off (there are only 15 combinations which will bear off a 6-1).
