Rulings
I was thinking about recording matches via video, and came up with a
hypothetical.
Player A vs. Player B. A sets up his video camera to record, and B does
not object. At some point in the match, a dispute occurs -- perhaps an
illegal move, or placement of the cube, etc. A wants to check the
recording to see. B objects. Ruling?
Purely hypothetical ... just curious to see what people would say!

I say: call the director. And then, if the usual methods failed to
resolve the dispute, why wouldn't the director go to the videotape --
the one reliable witness? And on what basis would B or A object?
Answering hypotheticals with rhetoricals ...

As a director, certainly I'd go to the tape if it would yield the right
answer.
As a player, I've offered to rewind the tape to get the original
position. Nobody has ever had a problem with that. Generally, they were
glad to have the tape and avoid a ruling.
