On the MSN Zone, the rating system is totally flawed. Ratings are
rounded to the nearest integer. So if you are a 2000 player playing a
1557 player (I chose that number carefully) in a 1pt match, you will
go up 1.51 points when you win, and drop 2.49 points when you lose.
Those round to 2 and 2. So you can effectively manipulae your rating
upward by 443 points on the Zone. If you can play only other
manipulators, you can get your rating to 443 points above THEIR
rating. Thus, there are players on the Zone with 2600 ratings who
have NOT gotten them by dumping from stooge accounts.
