Anyone figured how to convert/edit to mat format?

Gregg posted about this a while back. There are three things that need
to be changed:
- The length of the match (first line) may be wrong (will show number of
games, not the match length).
- "Double" and "Take" should be "Doubles" and "Takes"
- The number of points won each game is listed as the player's total
points. For example, if the match score is 2-2 and the game is a
single win, PG will report "Player wins 3 points"
If you fix these three items, you should be able to import the file as
"Standard Text."

To clarify, there appear to be two different formats of saved games on
PartyGammon. One can be found on your hard drive. Another is extracted
if you go to the Game History and select save, then choose a file name.
The latter is very close to the standard .mat format, but the match
length needs to be changed, and some of the other information is wrong
(such as the number of points won), but might be ignored by the program
you are using to import the records. It's likely that PartyGammon will
make whatever minor changes are needed to fix this format before too
long.
The former contains other header information, but is far from the
standard formats. Gnu users may be able to convert these match records
using the script Achim mentioned. Users of other bots will have trouble
making use of this file, but it contains the match length.
